Stretch Goal Update
over 4 years ago – Sun, Sep 08, 2019 at 09:08:53 PM

Hey everyone!

We are only 10 backers away from unlocking Prudence Primrose as a 28mm miniature that will come with every potion bottle during this Kickstarter!

We are making a ton of posts and spreading the word at our conventions so like and share every post you see and if your not seeing a post in your groups PLEASE make one.

To give you some statistics on the KS

our video currently has

1649 views, with a 25% play through rate!

709 people have selected the remind me button and will receive notification in the last 48hrs.

And we have 330 awesome backers!

We are blown away by the positive response from everyone but the hard fact remains that not enough people are seeing the KS. We have been reaching out and have paid more for advertising than I personally want to think about...

To make the needed funding goal and be able to bring this fantastic idea to life we need as many people to see the video and KS page as possible.

For those of you who are actively sharing and promoting our project, THANK YOU!!!

If you have not had the chance to create a post about it, please do. It really is only with the help of all our backers that we will be able to continue to bring you cool ideas like this.

Optimistically yours,

Noble Dwarf

While this will not be her final pose I would like to share the concept art for Prudence Primrose created by the ultra talented SirTiefling!

Here's to a strong finish!

New Stretch Goal!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Sep 01, 2019 at 04:57:52 AM

Hello All!

Sorry I missed the update on Tuesday but with just a bit over half way done we are now 39% funded!

We know that we still have a ways to go to achieve funding and we really appreciate all of you who took the time to fill out the Backer Survey we sent out. If you did not see the survey please check your messages in Kickstarter. Make sure you claim your copy of Diception, you will love that casino!

Noble Dwarf is at Game X in Los Angeles this weekend so if you’re around make sure you stop by and check out the Draught prototype in person.

If you happen to be at Dragoncon this weekend make sure you swing by booth #1701 to see the painted potion bottle and say hi to Sammy Castillo! Let her know what color scheme you are thinking for your one of a kind Castillo Studios paintjob!

BIG NEWS!

Backer Stretch Goal!

To celebrate the holiday weekend we have decided to add a new stretch goal to the mix!

If we can lock in 50 NEW backers at the Traveler tier or higher we will be including a Noble Dwarf exclusive 28mm 3D printed miniature of Prudence Primrose, owner of Prismatic Potions & Preparations!

Absolutely Free!

That’s right! During this Kickstarter only each and every Draught will also include one of our highly detailed 3D prints!

So if you like free minis make sure you create a post on every social media account you have!

Please use this link so we can track the traffic and support!

Obviously the more exposure we can achieve the more backers we will get and the closer we will come to making this dream of ours a reality. Every like and share is crucial so we thank you!

We are preparing for an amazing weekend and hope you have one too!

Tempus fugit!
over 4 years ago – Sat, Aug 24, 2019 at 10:35:51 AM

What a great week!

We were featured by Backerkit in the #2 position on their Tabletop Gaming Favorites email!

And now a nod from Beadle & Grimm's Pandemonium Warehouse!

But the best compliment yet came from a twitter user that said

“This is some fred-and-george-weasley level merch”

Thank you to everyone in this community, it really is amazing how so many wonderful people can come together and bring projects like this to life.

We still have a ways to go and 18 days to get there, so make sure you’re telling everyone you know…and telling a few strangers wouldn’t hurt either.

We have some ideas for a great stretch goal and more add on goodies but to get there we need to keep climbing strong!

THANK YOU ALL!

Compatibility Questions
over 4 years ago – Fri, Aug 16, 2019 at 06:13:38 AM

ND here,

I'm posting today because there have been some questions about whether or not the Draught of Happenstance would be Pathfinder compatible.

The short answer is yes, but...

The longer answer is yes, but it will take time. Paizo's Pathfinder is an amazing ruleset and setting that spans more than a decade of work. It has so many options that players can customize their characters to the nth degree. The PFSRD lists 32 classes from Paizo alone, not including Unchained classes (Rogues, man!), Occult classes (Any Kineticists around?), and Alternate classes (Antipaladin, anyone?) Then there's the third-party stuff and prestige classes. Did anyone ever become a Hell Knight without doing it at character creation?

So, what does that all mean for the potion?

I guess what I'm trying to say is... there's a lot of Cheese. And of course, adventure paths like Iron Gods already have a lot of weird potions and magic effects in them that can do all sorts of crazy things. As things stand, the 5e version of the potion bottle can already be kind of extra. How do we add our potion effects into Pathfinder without making it so players can one shot that boss lich? (I'm looking at you, Ray the Warlock with your double crit eldritch blasts!)

The answer?  A lot of play testing.

But in the meantime, we really want to get this awesome potion bottle out there, and to do that we need your support. Yes, right now, the potion only has 5e effects, but by the time the potion bottle ships, I would like to think we will have at least Pathfinder 1 stuff available. Of course, that can't happen if we don't fund and get the backing it takes to cover the cost of mold fees, production, packaging, shipping, distributing, etc.

We're not any of those major companies that can push this out without your help. We've tried to keep the cost low for you guys, but that means we need a lot of people to see this. We have plans for a lot of things that can expand on this, but we need to set the foundation in stone first...

Hmm...

Petrification might be a good potion effect...

Don't worry guy's it's only a one in twenty chance. What's the worst that can happen?

Oh. Right. We could not fund. That would suck. Please give this a share, and if possible, consider buying a bottle. And remember, just because we provide effects for one system or another, that doesn't mean you GMs out there have to use them. Their more guidelines than actual rules, unless you have +10 Profession (Barrister)

Ooooh! Another potion effect: Falling Rocks!  DC 30 reflex save, or your PCs die. That sounds fun!

Just remember you can create your own effects to fit your game!
